Part 1 - Preparation session

Monday September 20th, 2024

In this session we meet as a group for the first time and start the process of forming the group. We learn about the process of deep listening and share our hopes and inspiration for coming on the journey. This session will follow the format of other men's groups where we can continue the process of listening to the other in a compassionate and respectful way.

Part 2 - Weekend Hike

Saturday October 26th & Sunday October 27th, 2024

We meet in Melbourne early on Saturday morning and drive to the hiking location. The hike will be a relatively challenging walk (10-20km) conducted in silence for the duration of the walk. As we travel together in silence, the invitation is to open to our own inner dialogue as it comes into contact with the natural world.

When we reach the camping site we set up camp and sit in circle together to share what came up during the hike. After this we will share a meal and have community time.

The following morning we hike again in silence as we return to the car to start the journey home and arrive home late Sunday afternoon.
